Our vital force can be depleted by ongoing stress- overwork, continuous fear/ anxiety, toxins in our food, air & water, leading to overwhelm, mental & physical fatigue, and detriment to our nervous and immune systems.

Are you exhausted, worn down, burned out?

Do you find it difficult to concentrate & focus because your mind is scattered?

A support for the nervous system in the midst of physical & psychological stress, one of my favorite gentle plant medicines is sweet and nourishing Milky Oats.  It's a tonic & restorative plant, the medicine made from the milky substance exuded from the grain before it hardens into seed.  Mineral and nutrient rich, it nurtures our vital force, our essence, and influences our gut-brain axis.  It increases the flow of energy through our nervous system & can help us use our energy sustainably.  The main body of the plant (in forms of Oat straw or oat tops,  often made in long infusions/ tea) is rich in silica- strengthening the bones and connective tissue , & phosphorus, important for brain and nerve formation.

A loving and gently supportive plant, it gradually and steadily nourishes and rebuilds the nervous system, so it's quite appropriate to take this remedy long-term to really benefit from it's healing properties.

Interestingly, as today is the entrance of the Full Buck Moon, the milk of the milky oats has a deep relationship with the moon, which is traditionally seen as the primary ruler of the brain and receptive component of the nervous system.

I'm happy to be able to share the tincture that I made with this amazing plant, tended and grown in my own garden.  You can pick up a bottle at the studio after your next session, or email me to arrange a pick-up/ drop off.

1oz bottles: $15

2oz bottles: $25

4oz bottles: $40

Be careful (care full) and mindful to keep your schedule less than full, give generous time to recoup between activities; attend to rest and meditative practices...peaceful, slow, and soft- like you're just beginning to wake up.
